Meet Club Marine's Key Team Players

  • Caryne Duvenhage heads up Club Marine Insurance as Managing Member. Caryne has a passion for all water sports, the fact that she is a Springbok Barefoot Water-skier, an advanced diver and has her skippers tickets for both power yachts and sailing boats bearing testament to this. Before entering the insurance game, she was involved in boat sales for ten years and is an All Watercraft expert. She has proven experience to provide the best advice and up-to-date information and holds a Cop and ICibS insurance certificate.

  • Russell Duvenhage is Club Marine's Financial and Operations Manager with eight years' experience in company management and property investment. Russell has always been a boating enthusiast, he is fanatical about his water sports and if he is not on the golf course, then you will find him water-skiing or wake boarding. He is often seen around the country participating in deep sea fishing competitions. Russell is FAIS accredited and holds an IMM business certificate. He also holds a Category C skippers licence, is a rescue diver and is in the process of obtaining his Dive Masters and National Geographic diving qualifications.

  • Ashney is Club Marine's Financial Administrator with many years' experience in the Boat Finance and Insurance Industry. After moving from Durban to Gauteng, Ashney joined Club Marine where her skill and expertise have proved invaluable to new and existing clients. Ashney is Accredited FAIS compliant and has her Cat R Skippers Licence.

  • Cathi is our marketing guru, responsible for advertising, liaising with the press, and coordinating magazine and web coverage. She has worked as a journalist for The Star Newspaper, Financial Mail, The Daily News as well as many magazines, and has over sixteen years PR experience in the boating industry.

  • Chelene is Club Marine's Claims Administrator. Having worked in public liability claims in a UK law firm, Chelene brings invaluable experience and skill to the company. Chelene is FAIS accredited and enjoys all forms of boating and water sports, she has completed her Category R skipper's license. Club Marine's clients will undoubtedly benefit from her friendly, hands-on and professional approach.

  • Nanette is our Senior Underwriter and has been in the insurance industry for many years. Nanette handles water craft and marine cargo quotes and also specialises in household and commercial insurance. Her strengths lie in setting up new agencies for the changing market. She holds a B Com Degree as well as ICIBs and is FAIS accredited.

  • Natalie, our Switchboard and Office Administrator is behind the friendly voice when calling Club Marine Insurance, with her inter-personal skills a definite asset to the company. She has a background in the travel industry and comes from a family of boating enthusiasts. Natalie has also achieved her Cat R Skippers Certificate.
