2011 CAPE TOWN INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW UPDATE

Exhibitors at the recent Cape Town International Boat Show couldn’t have ordered more perfect weather for the show weekend recently – the perfect prelude to summer attracting loads of interested visitors keen to view the spectacular boats and accessories available this season.

Club Marine immediately captured much attention with their colourful stand at the CTICC – where Russell, Natalie, Cathi, Roxy and Gaby were on hand to give tips and advice and to encourage enthusiastic boat owners to take part in Club Marine’s Competition.

There were some great prizes on display at the stand catching the eye of many who stopped to enter and these were the lucky winners:

Brian Thornton - Fishing package (R2 400) from Seaport Supply, Matthew Kelly - Wake Board (R2500) from O’Brien and Manex Marine, Colin Van Den Heuvel - Fuel Jet Shuttle (R1195) from Honda Marine Somerset West, Marius Koen - Two-man Deck Tube (R1150) from Anchor Boat Shop,  Nico Els - Kiddies Training Ski’s, tube, rope and handle R2 380 from Waterworld.

Beautiful displays of boats, motors, marine electronics, boat cleaning agents, sailing schools and many others - all with bright banners flying high, created a very festive atmosphere both indoors and on-the-water.

Outside exhibitors reveled in the sunshine which showed off their boats to their best advantage, giving buyers a taste of real boating lifestyle.
